A finished first level for a growing congregation

Christ Lutheran Church is finishing the basement in phases so we can steward the work carefully and avoid unnecessary debt. The goal is a true fellowship hall with a kitchen for meals and gatherings, expanded space for Bible study and Sunday school, and classrooms for Christ Classical Academy. We are a growing congregation and need this first-level space to better serve our members.

What We Are Building

Fellowship Hall
A larger gathering space for congregational meals, events, meetings, and hospitality.

Christ Classical Academy Classrooms
Two classrooms for Christian education.

Kitchen & Support Spaces
A kitchen, two bathrooms, and a Pastor’s office to serve the congregation and school with care.

Why This Matters

As our congregation grows, we need room for Sunday school, Bible study, meals, and gatherings that strengthen fellowship and care for families. Completing the first level gives us the space to host these activities and provides classrooms for Christ Classical Academy’s early years. This expanded space serves families across Manhattan, Junction City, St. George, Wamego, Ogden, Westmoreland, Riley County, and Pottawatomie County.

Progress and Milestones

We are moving forward in phases. This keeps the work orderly and sustainable while the congregation supports the project through prayer and gifts.
